Zusammenfassung:	A fixation device for fastening to a native heart valve having native valve leaflets, the fixation device comprising:(a) a device body, and(b) at least one clamp on the device body, the clamp for engaging and holding a native valve leaflet, the clamp comprising at least one moveable jaw, the moveable jaw having thereon at least one gripping element which is moveable relative to the moveable jaw between a native valve leaflet gripping configuration of the moveable jaw where the gripping element is arranged to grip a native valve leaflet and a passive configuration of the moveable jaw where the gripping element is arranged so that it cannot grip a native valve leaflet. This provides a device that can be repositioned during a medical procedure.
