Zusammenfassung:Disclosed herein is a device (1,1') for assisting translational movement of an endoscope (2) through the digestive tract (T), comprising:- a fixed radial expansion balloon (3) mounted on a fixed support bushing (4) to be immobilized on the endoscope (2);- a movable radial expansion balloon (5) mounted on a movable support bushing (6) to be mounted floating on the endoscope (2); and- an axial actuator (7, 7') attached between the movable radial expansion balloon (5) and a distal end (2a) of the endoscope (2), the axial actuator comprising:- a first unit of axial expansion chambers (8) attached to the movable support bushing (6);- a second unit of axial expansion chambers (10) attached to a movable distal bushing (11); and- a wire (12) attached between the movable support bushing (6) and the movable distal bushing (11).
