A FOOTING CHANNEL

The present disclosure provides a footing channel configured to be arranged along a building section. The footing channel comprises a channel element, a console, and a cover. The channel element comprises a bottom extending in a longitudinal direction, and a first and a second sidewall extending substantially parallel in the longitudinal direction from opposite edges of the bottom and terminating in a first and a second free end, respectively, to form a substantially U-shaped channel element. The console is attachable to the channel element and has suspension means for supporting the cover. The bottom has an open structure allowing drainage of a liquid through the bottom. The first sidewall has a first height being a distance from the bottom to the first free end, and the second sidewall has a second height being a distance from the bottom to the second free end. The second height is larger than the first height.
