Zusammenfassung:	Embodiments of this application provide an electronic device and a chip assembly. A protruding portion extending in a direction towards a first clamping member is formed on a second clamping member of the chip assembly, and the protruding portion is disposed in an area enclosed by all first fasteners. In addition, at least a part of an orthographic projection area of the protruding portion on a circuit board is disposed in a chip layout area of the circuit board (that is, an orthographic projection area of a chip on the circuit board), so as to support the circuit board, that is, to provide a specific support force for the chip layout area of the circuit board, thereby ensuring close contact between the chip and the chip socket or between the chip socket and the circuit board, and implementing a stable electrical connection between the chip and the circuit board.
