The device comprises a drug delivery device housing (4) and a medicament contained in the drug delivery device housing. A clutch (80, 81, 82, 83) is established between the dose knob (28) and the dial link (25) to prevent inadvertent proximal axial movement of the lead screw (22) away from the cartridge piston (10), which can lead to dosing inaccuracies.
