ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM

The invention relates to an endoscope system which has a working sleeve (2) and an endoscope (4) which can be introduced into the working sleeve (2). A first liquid channel (20) which is open towards the distal end is formed in the interior of the endoscope (4), and the outer cross-section of the endoscope (4) and the inner cross-section of the working sleeve (2) match each other such that when the endoscope is inserted into the working sleeve (2), the endoscope (4) rests against the inner circumference of the working sleeve (2) in a first section (14) of the outer circumference of the endoscope and the endoscope is arranged at a distance from the inner circumference of the working sleeve (2) in a second section (16) of the outer circumference of the endoscope. A free space (18) which extends over the axial length X of the working sleeve (2) is formed in the region between the inner circumference of the working sleeve (2) and the second section (16) of the outer circumference of the endoscope (4), said free space forming a second liquid channel which is open towards the distal end.
