COMPOSITION SUITABLE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A MEDICALLY ACTIVE PLASTER

Composition suitable for the production of a medical plaster for the delivery of the anti-inflammatory active ingredient etofenamate to the skin, wherein this composition contains at least (i) a self-adhesive polysiloxane; (ii) the pharmaceutical active ingredient etofenamate which is present as a dispersion in component (i); (iii) a compound or a mixture of compounds selected from mono-, di- or triester compounds of glycerol with a medium-chain (C10-C16) fatty acid or a mixture of such fatty acids, which have been obtained from plant oils; and (iv) optionally further additives, and for component (iii) the limit for the acid number is 0.4 and preferably 0.2; and the limit for the peroxide number is 2.0 and preferably 1.0.
