Zusammenfassung:	Battery life cycle management is facilited with distinct visual cues of colors and color-coded combinations. The color-codes enable battery types and characteristics over the course of the life of the battery to be determined. The color-codes are based on a color system that indicates a performance rating of the batteries. A system for managing the color-coded batteries selects color-coded batteries for use based upon color, maintaining color based functionality, and color-coded battery indication for destruction of the battery at the end of its life cycle.
