Provided is a composite material crushing apparatus including: a cutting part (20) configured to cut, into pieces, a long composite material (200) formed of a resin material containing a fiber base material; a conveying part (10) configured to transport the pieces (201) cut by the cutting part (20); and a crushing part (30) configured to crush the pieces (201) conveyed by the conveying part (10).
