Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a watercraft (1) including: a volume reduction processing part (20) configured to reduce the volume of a composite material (200) formed of a resin material containing a fiber base material; a body (2) in which the volume reduction processing part (20) is installed; and an internal combustion engine (3) configured to generate thrust for moving the body (2), and the volume reduction processing part (20) reduces the volume of the composite material (200) by heating the composite material (200) within a predetermined temperature range to thermally decompose the resin material.
