Zusammenfassung:The present disclosure relates to a 6G communication system for accomplishing ultra-low latency and a data transmission rate higher than that of 4G and 5G communication systems. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, even if a satellite forming a specific cell is changed in a non-terrestrial network (NTN), the terminal may change a satellite connection without initiating a procedure for synchronization with the changed satellite connection by performing uplink synchronization and downlink synchronization with the changed satellite on the basis of information for uplink synchronization and information for downlink synchronization that have been obtained in advance. Accordingly, even if a satellite in communication is changed, a user's terminal can experience high communication quality without interruption, and there is no need to perform the synchronization procedure which is performed when the existing satellite is changed, such that the number of communication signals among the terminal, the satellite, a core network, and a server (e.g. an NTN management server), etc., can be reduced, thereby reducing management complexity in the server and reducing power consumption of the terminal.
