Zusammenfassung:	There is described a support system (1) of the control of surveillance cameras (10), comprising surveillance cameras (10), display devices (2) in a control area (3) receiving videos from the surveillance cameras (10). Control cameras (4) are installed in the control area (3) to film an operator (5), and a controller (7) is configured to receive the videos from the control cameras (4), count an overall pointing duration (D) of the operator's gaze in subsequent time intervals (I1, I2, ..., In) for each display device (2), and activate a signal for drawing the attention of the operator (5) if the overall pointing duration (D) at the display device (2) is lower than a minimum pointing duration (dmin).
