Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a medicament dispenser (10), comprising a plurality of storage shelves (1) which have compartments (2), wherein each compartment (2) is paired with a respective metering device (3), which can be inserted into the compartment and which can be removed therefrom, for storing and for removing solid or liquid medicaments, such as tablets, pills, liquids, or the like. Each metering device (3) has a cover (4) which can be moved between a closed position (5) and an open position (6), and each compartment (2) is paired with detection means (8) which detect and/or monitor the correct positioning as well as the placement, removal, and exchange of each of the metering devices (3) in the compartment (2).
