Zusammenfassung:	An electronic device according to various embodiments may comprise: a battery; a switch connecting the battery and a main board on which components of the electronic device are disposed; a power management module including a power management circuit and having a function for turning on the power of the electronic device at a power-on time set to turn on the power of the electronic device in a power-off state; and a processor. The processor may be configured to: when a request for power-off of the electronic device is confirmed, set the power-on time and then turn off the power of the electronic device; compare a power-off period of the electronic device with a threshold period of the electronic device when the power-on time is confirmed and the power of the electronic device is turned on; and, when the power-off period of the electronic device is greater than or equal to the threshold period, open the switch to separate the battery from the main board.
