Zusammenfassung:A method of providing output data (1), preferably in an output file, for parameterizing a digital twin (DT) of an automation system (MT), preferably a machine tool, the automation system (MT) comprising a plurality of automation components (11-18),wherein the digital twin (DT) is a digital representation of the automation system (MT), the method comprising the steps of:determining, by an automation component (17) from the plurality of automation components (11-18), parameter data (2) from the plurality of automation components (11-18), wherein the parameter data (2) serve for parameterizing the digital twin (DT) of the automation system (MT),creating, by the automation component (17), output data (1) based on the parameter data (2), wherein the output data (1) is loadable by the digital twin (DT) of the automation system (MT) .
