Zusammenfassung:	An aerosol generating device according to an embodiment includes a heater configured to heat a cigarette, a temperature sensor configured to measure temperature of the heater, and a controller configured to determine a humidity state of the cigarette by calculating a temperature increase time of the cigarette by using the temperature sensor and by comparing the calculated temperature increase time of the cigarette with a preset threshold. The controller supplies power to the heater according to a basic temperature profile when the temperature increase time is less than the threshold, and supplies power to the heater according to a first correction profile when the temperature increase time is greater than or equal to the threshold.
