Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure relates to a system for adjusting a level of luminance of a display unit. The system comprises a display unit to display content. Further, the system comprises a capturing unit to capture image of front view of the display unit. Furthermore, the system comprises a computing unit. The computing unit is configured to receive the image from the capturing unit. Further, the computing unit is configured to determine one or more target regions from plurality of regions in the image. The one or more target regions are determined based on weightage assigned to each of the plurality of regions. Furthermore, the computing unit determines effects of light incident on the one or more target regions. Thereafter, the computing unit adjusts the display of the content based on the effects of light.
