A device may include a processor configured to obtain input data based on channel information representing attributes associated with an established communication channel of a communication device and context information representing attributes associated with the location of the communication device, provide the input data to a trained machine learning model, the trained machine learning model configured to determine a timing parameter representing a propagation delay for a transmission using the established communication channel based on the input data, and configure timing of an uplink transmission of the communication device via the established communication channel based on the determined timing parameter.
