Further, the shield contact element (100) comprises at least one contact lamella (120) extending in the axial direction (114) for creating an electrical connection between the housing shell (110) and a shield (210) for shielding the plug contact element, wherein a contact foot (122) of the contact lamella (120) is arranged in a recess (130) formed in the housing shell (110) to electrically contact the housing shell (110) with the shield (210) in the recess (130).
