Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for enhancing the uptake of iron, copper, manganese and zinc by plants in crops, wherein the method consists of supplying the crop with a composition comprising erythritol, alone or in combination with one or more monosaccharides selected from mannose, glucose, galactose and xylose, which improves the total levels of the aforementioned micronutrients in the plant. Its application therefore constitutes an alternative to conventional fertilisers based on these micronutrients.
