Zusammenfassung:	A display apparatus (2) displays, on a touch panel display (3), an image received from an external device (6) that is external to the display apparatus (2). The display apparatus (2) includes a detection unit (39) configured to detect coordinates of a position of an input means that has approached the position within a threshold distance from the touch panel display (3), a communication unit (23) configured to transmit the coordinates of the input means that has approached the position to the external device (6) based on a first determination result indicating that a predetermined condition is satisfied, and a display control unit (28) configured to display stroke data based on the coordinates of the input means that has approached the position so as to be superimposed on the image on the touch panel display (3) based on a second determination result indicating that the predetermined condition is not satisfied.
