Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a mobile device (2) for the maintenance of land, comprising a balance detector (90) configured to generate a signal representative of a tilt of the mobile device (2) with respect to a reference plane (RP) substantially orthogonal to the vertical direction (G) defined by the acceleration of gravity. A control unit is operatively connected to the balance detector (90) and configured to execute a safety procedure. The safety procedure comprises at least the steps of receiving the signal representative of the tilt of the mobile device (2), determining a tilt value of the mobile device (2) with respect to the reference plane (RP) and comparing the tilt value with the at least one threshold tilt value.
