Zusammenfassung:A fluid reservoir (60, 60a, 60b, 100, 122, 130, 150) for a fluid ejection head structure (84, 102, 132, 162), a fluid dispense cartridge (26, 40, 80) and a method for priming a fluid ejection head (84, 102, 132, 162) for a fluid dispensing device (10) are provided. The fluid reservoir includes an enclosed fluid cavity (64, 64a, 64b) therein configured for containing fluid, a fluid outlet (68, 68a, 68b) in fluid flow communication with the enclosed fluid cavity (64, 64a, 64b), and a flow inducing pump (70, 70a, 70b, 120) attached to the fluid reservoir (60, 60a, 60b, 100, 122, 130, 150) opposite the fluid outlet (68, 68a, 68b). The pump attached to the fluid reservoir may be effective in minimizing ejection head priming issues and also minimizing the amount of air trapped in the nozzles of the ejection head.
