Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tyre having a tread with at least one shoulder-side profile rib (1) which is delimited by a circumferential groove (4) configured to a profile depth (TP), which profile rib (1) is provided with a plurality of transverse grooves (5) which, as seen in plan view, extend parallel to one another, terminate in front of the circumferential groove (5) and each have a groove base (6b) and an end flank (6c) extending in the continuation thereof to the tread periphery, and which profile rib (1) is also provided with depressions (7) which emanate from the circumferential groove (4), are open to the tread periphery and have an end flank (7c) which is situated within the shoulder-side profile rib (1) and which extends to the tread periphery, wherein the depressions (7) are each assigned to a transverse groove (5) such that the end flanks (6c, 7c) thereof are situated opposite one another. Extending between each depression (7) and the transverse groove (5) assigned thereto is a short sipe (8) which is configured to be narrower and shallower than the transverse groove (5) and the depression (7) and which has a depth (tE) of at least 30% of the profile depth (TP) and which, as seen in plan view, is composed of two sipe portions (8a, 8b) which enclose an angle (λ) of 130° to 170°, one of which portions reaches to the end flank (7c) of the depression (7) and the other of which portions reaches to the end flank (6c) of the transverse groove (5). |
