Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for producing a structuring means for texturing an embossable material surface, in particular a resinous laminate surface, comprising the steps of: providing a web-like substrate (5) made of paper and/or plastic, applying a UV-curable lacquer layer (7) consisting of acrylated oligomer onto the substrate (5), forming a three-dimensional embossed structure (13) into the lacquer layer (7) which has been applied onto the substrate (5), and curing the lacquer layer (7) by irradiation with high-energy radiation, preferably UV light, during the formation of the embossed structure (13). In order to be able to economically produce structuring means of the aforementioned type using such a method, the structuring means being characterized by high mechanical strength and thermal resistance with regard to their use in a press, according to the invention at least one adhesion promoter layer (8) consisting of acrylated oligomer, a reactive diluent and a photoinitiator which reacts to high-energy radiation, preferably UV radiation, is applied onto the substrate (5) before the UV-curable lacquer layer (7) is applied, and the lacquer layer (7) comprising the embossed structure (13) is cured by irradiation with high-energy radiation, preferably UV light, to such an extent that the structuring means (17), in the finished state, has an average Martens hardness according to DIN EN ISO 14577 in the range from 10 N/mm2 to 80 N/mm2, preferably in the range from 30 N/mm2 to 80 N/mm2, wherein the indenter used as a test element for measuring the Martens hardness is pressed into the surface of the lacquer layer (7) comprising the embossed structure (13). The invention further relates to such a structuring means (17).
