Zusammenfassung:	A method for monitoring of an electrical machine (1) during its operation, the method comprising:- detecting in a detector (3) a stray magnetic field of the electrical machine (1),- based on the detected stray magnetic field and on an electrical model (8) of the electrical machine (1), (S110) determining operating point data of the electrical machine (1),- using the electrical model (8) and the operating point data to determine a mechanical output power and power losses of the electrical machine (1),- (S120) determining an efficiency of the electrical machine (1) from the mechanical output power and from the power losses.
