Zusammenfassung:	Compositions for intranasal delivery of benzodiazepines and methods for their use to treat and prevent seizures are provided. The compositions deliver rapid therapeutic onset with a decreased incidence and/or severity of adverse effects after administration. Additionally, use of the compositions for the treatment of seizure clusters increases the time to a second seizure and duration of the interseizure cluster interval.
