Zusammenfassung:To provide a bipolar battery capable of reliably preventing electrolytic solution leakage out of a cell by means of a simple seal structure. A bipolar battery (100) includes a plurality of cell members (150), and a plurality of frame units (110), (120), (130) respectively forming a plurality of cells (160) respectively incorporating the plurality of cell members (150). The plurality of frame units (110), (120), (130) include the frame units (130), (110) made of a light transmissive resin material and the frame units (110), (120) made of a light absorbing resin material being alternately arranged in a stacking direction of the cell members (150). The frame units (130), (110) made of a light transmissive resin material and the frame units (110), (120) made of a light absorbing resin material adjacent in the stacking direction of the cell members (150) are joined at welded portions (140).
