Zusammenfassung:Methods, computing systems, and computer-readable media for delivering applications using an on-demand virtual machine system. The method includes receiving an application request from a user, including a request to remotely access one or more applications; determining computing resources for fulfilling the application request; allocating the determined computing resources to the user from a client resource pool of a client to which the user is associated, wherein the allocating comprises serving a virtual machine (VM) allocated with the determined computing resources to the user; determining that the computing resources are no longer in use; and releasing the computing resources to the client resource pool.
