Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a test method for testing a protection equipment (1) made of composite material. The method includes a percussion step b) of shocking the protection equipment (1) using a mechanical percussion tool (3). The natural vibrations are collected and the resulting response profile is then analysed to determine whether the protection equipment corresponds or not to predetermined performances standards. The present invention further covers a method of management of the protection equipment of a unit and a portative testing device (11) allowing to easily implement the method at or near the operation theatre.
