Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a machine for producing a paper, cardboard or tissue web or other fibrous web (1), comprising a pressing assembly having two press nips (2, 3) for dewatering the fibrous web (1), each press nip being formed by two press rolls (4, 5, 6, 7), wherein the two press rolls (4, 5) of the first press nip (2) and at least the lower press roll (7) of the second press nip (3) are assigned respective separate, continuously circulating, water-absorbing dewatering belts (11, 12, 13, 14), and wherein the upper dewatering belt (11) of the first press nip (2) receives the fibrous web (1) from the forming fabric (8) of an upstream former for sheet formation. The range of possible uses of the machine should be expanded by virtue of the following: suction is applied to the upper press roll (4) of the first press nip (2), the upper press roll (6) of the second press nip (3) has a smooth lateral surface, the upper dewatering belt (11) of the first press nip (2) transfers the fibrous web (1) onto the lower dewatering belt (14) of the second press nip (3), and suction elements (16, 17) that suction the fibrous web (1) to the lower dewatering belt (14) are assigned to said dewatering belt (14), one in the region of the receipt of the fibrous web (1) and one downstream of the second press nip (3).
