Zusammenfassung:	1. Method for call verification and scam detection comprising the following steps:- a calling step, in which a first user makes a call by means of a first device to reach a second user having a second device, wherein the call comprises a call identification information;- a detection step, in which the call identification information is detected by a scam detection unit located in a central network section;- a verification step, in which the scam detection unit determines the trustworthiness the call by the first user based on the call identification information, and classifies the trustworthiness into at least two security categories; and- a notification step, in which the security category to which the call by the first user has been classified is communicated to the second device of the second user.
