The locating method provided in embodiments of this application includes: A radio frequency switching unit receives a first message sent by a first remote radio unit through a first module, the radio frequency switching unit receives a second message sent by a second remote radio unit through a second module, the radio frequency switching unit receives a third message sent by a third remote radio unit through a third module, and the radio frequency switching unit receives a fourth message sent by a fourth remote radio unit through a fourth module. In embodiments of this application, locating signals sent by a plurality of remote radio units are received at a same moment, and locating accuracy of a terminal is improved.
