Zusammenfassung:Techniques are disclosed relating to configuring a marine seismic survey. In some embodiments, a vessel may be coupled to one or more seismic sources and one or more seismic streamers, and a second vessel may be coupled to one or more far offset seismic sources. The far offset seismic sources may be configured to actuate less frequently than the (near) offset seismic sources. Seismic data may then be collected, via the one or more seismic streamers, responsive to actuations of the offset sources and the far offset seismic sources.
