Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a refrigeration appliance (1), in particular a domestic refrigeration appliance, having an interspace (15), which is delimited by a wall (3) and is filled with insulation material (16), having a filling opening (17) for the insulation material (16), this opening being arranged in the wall (3), and having a valve element (21), which closes the filling opening (17). The invention provides that at least a first portion (25) of the valve element (21), this first portion covering the filling opening (17), is of flame-retardant design.
