Zusammenfassung:This application relates to the field of information technologies and the field of artificial intelligence technologies, and discloses an information extraction method and apparatus for text with layout to help improve accuracy of information extraction for text with layout. The method includes: first determining that a text block that belongs to a target category and that is in text with layout needs to be extracted; then recognizing, based on feature information at a text block granularity, the text block that belongs to the target category and that is in the text with layout; and next outputting an identifier of the text block that belongs to the target category and that is in the text with layout.
