Zusammenfassung:	A face milling cutter (1) comprising:- a tool body (2);- at least two cutting inserts (20) for forming a milled flat surface on a workpiece and mounted in a respective insert seat (10) in the tool body, each cutting insert having a secondary cutting edge (22) that constitutes the axially foremost cutting edge of the cutting insert; and- several burnishing assemblies (30) with a respective springloaded burnishing element (31) arranged in the tool body.The number of the burnishing assemblies (30) in the tool body (2) is the same as the number of insert seats (10), wherein the insert seats and the burnishing assemblies are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction of the tool body such that each one of the insert seats (10) is followed by an associated one of the burnishing assemblies (30) as seen in the intended direction of rotation of the tool body.
