Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for processing speech inputs, via which vehicle functions (I, II, III) are controlled in a vehicle, comprising speech recognition and comprising graphics associated with the vehicle functions (I, II, III) which are displayed on a screen (7) of the vehicle. The method according to the invention is characterised in that vehicle functions can be controlled by means of a short, spoken, neutral command that cannot be explicitly related to a vehicle function, in that the displayed graphics of the vehicle functions (I, II, III) directly responding to the short, neutral command (8) are distinguishably characterised in relation to the simultaneously displayed graphics of the other vehicle functions (I, II, III).
