Proposed is a motor drive apparatus driving first (140) and second (120) motors having first wirings (C1-C3) and second wirings (C4-C6), respectively, including a first inverter (10) including first switching elements (S11-S16), an alternating-current terminal of the first inverter being connected to a first terminal of each of the first wirings, a second inverter (20) including second switching elements (S21-S26), a first change-over switch (30) including third switching elements (S31-S33), first-side terminals thereof being connected to second terminals of the first wirings, respectively, and second-side terminals being connected together, a second change-over switch (40) including fourth switching elements (S41-S43), first-side terminals thereof being connected to the second terminals, respectively, and second-side terminals being connected to an alternating-current terminal of the second inverter, a third change-over switch (50) including fifth switching elements (S51-S53), first-side terminals thereof being connected to the alternating-current terminal, and second-side terminals being connected to the second wirings, respectively, and a controller (70) controlling turned-on and-off states of the first to fifth switching elements.
