Zusammenfassung:The present disclosure relates to a plurality of globular nanostructures, having a dispersity between 1 and 1.8 and a volume average hydrodynamic diameter of 13 nm to 90 nm; wherein each nanostructure comprises a polymer framework of monomer residues, wherein the average number of bonds from each monomer residue is in the range of from 3.0 up to but not including 6.0; wherein at least 90% of the monomer residues comprise two geminal chelating groups, each chelating group independently being -PO(OR1)(OR2); wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of a negative charge and H; and - denotes an internal bond in the monomer residue. The present disclosure also relates to a method of producing such nanostructures, to the use of such nanostructures as well as to a pharmaceutical composition comprising such nanostructures.
