Regarding an electronic device and an operation method of the electronic device, according to various embodiments, the electronic device comprises: at least one application using information related to a user terminal; and a subscription manager, wherein the subscription manager may be configured to: receive, from the application, a subscription request for collecting information of the user terminal; perform at least one operation for subscribing a first base station connected to the user terminal; receive, from the first base station, information indicating that handover to a second base station of the user terminal is performed; perform at least one operation for subscribing the second base station, in response to receiving the information indicating that the handover is performed; and perform at least one operation for releasing subscription with the first base station.
