Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an antibody which specifically recognizes the receptor binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein (S) as well as to nucleic acids encoding the antibody thereof. In addition, the invention relates to the use of the antibody of the invention in medicine, more particularly in the treatment of a disease caused by a coronovirus comprising the RBD of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. Finally, the invention also relates to a method of detecting the RBD of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, to a method of diagnosis a coronavirus infection and to a screening or diagnostic kit comprising the antibody of the invention.
