Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a pressure measuring device (10) including an elastic body (12) having a wall (14) which defines a lumen (16) arranged within the elastic body (12), the lumen (16) being fillable with a compressible fluid. The lumen (16) is configured to be compressed by a body part of a user to compress the compressible fluid. A pressure detection device (20) is configured to detect a pressure in the lumen (16). The pressure measuring device (10) further includes a connection member (24) arranged within an opening (26) formed in and attached to the wall (14), the connection member (24) being operatively connectable to an electrical component (20, 28) of the pressure measuring device (10) and connectable to an external power source (30). The connection member (24) has an outer contour (32) which is curved, with respect to a direction which extends along a longitudinal axis (34) of the opening (26), at an interface (36) between the wall (14) and the connection member (24).
