Zusammenfassung:	The invention describes a method of operating a wind turbine (1), which method comprises steps of monitoring the temperature (10T, 11T, 12T) of a component (10, 11, 12) of the wind turbine (1) to obtain a temperature progression (10TP, 11TP, 12TP) for that component (10, 11, 12); determining the gradient (10G, 11G, 12G) of the temperature progression (10TP, 11TP, 12TP); and curtailing the power output (Pout) of the wind turbine (1) on the basis of the temperature progression gradient (10G, 11G, 12G). The invention further describes a wind turbine (1) comprising a curtailment module (142) configured to curtail the power output (Pout) of the wind turbine (1) on the basis of a temperature progression gradient (10G, 11G, 12G).
