Zusammenfassung: | The present disclosure relates to the in vitro generation of a stratified artificial tumor tissue spheroid model comprising pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells and tumor microenvironment stromal components, for anti-cancer therapeutics screening, methods and uses thereof. The present disclosure also relates to a hydrogel-embedded stratified microtumor tissue spheroid platform; to a kit for anti-cancer therapeutic screening for use in the therapy, diagnostic, or treatment of pancreatic cancer; and to an in vitro or ex vivo method for screening therapeutics/therapeutics combinations for use in the therapy, diagnostic, or treatment of pancreatic cancer. The present disclosure also relates to the fabrication of hydrogel-stratified pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells and tumor microenvironment stromal components to generate stratified hydrogel-embedded tumor models that recapitulate tumor-stroma specific ECM spatial stratification. |
