Zusammenfassung:	A pushing device for furniture or household appliances includes a first pull-out guide and a second pull-out guide, wherein each of the two pull-out guides comprises a stationary guide rail and at least one running rail which is movable relative to the guide rail and a front holder and a rear holder being fixed to each running rail, a base resting on all four holders and being secured against displacement by stops on the holders. A method for assembling a pushing device includes mounting the holders on the running rails and placing a base on each of the holders.
