Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a charging device (1) for a charging system (18) for electrical energy stores of motor vehicles, which charging system comprises at least one vehicle-internal charging apparatus (19) for an electrical energy store of a motor vehicle and at least one vehicle-external stationary charging point (20). The charging device (1) is designed to carry out a charging process for charging the electrical energy store and, for this purpose, comprises: - at least one control unit (2); - at least one voltage converter (3), which can be controlled by means of the control unit (2) and which can be electrically connected to the charging apparatus (19) and to the charging point (20); and - at least one first communication means (4) for acquiring data required for carrying out the charging process, which communication means is connected to the control unit (2). According to the invention, the charging device has a housing (9), in which the control unit (2), the voltage converter (3) and the at least one first communication means (4) are disposed, the housing (9) having at least one connection means (10), in each case, for releasably electrically connecting at least the voltage converter (3) to the charging apparatus (19) and to the charging point (20), and the housing being in the form of a interchangeable housing (9) for selective arrangement on the charging apparatus (19) and on the charging point (20).
