Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a system for repairing a joint, comprising a joint insert; a boring guide; and, a boring assembly; the joint insert comprising a scalloped top surface configured to rigidly engage a prepared complimentary bone surface; a bottom surface configured to non-rigidly engage a joint surface, the bottom surface opposing the top surface; the boring guide comprising a plurality of bores defined by a cross section and a longitudinal arc, the bores configured to cooperate with the boring assembly, and direct a boring head of the boring assembly on a predetermined path defined by the longitudinal arc of the respective bores. The invention also relates to a corresponding joint insert.
