Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a bifidobacterium derived from infant intestines that inhibit the production of IL-17 and can be suitably used in foods and beverages, and food and beverages containing the Bifidobacterium. Provided is Bifidobacterium longum species that inhibit the production of IL-17. The bifidobacterium is Bifidobacterium longum strain N714 (NITE BP-03004). This may reduce chronic inflammatory diseases caused by enhanced IL-17.
