Zusammenfassung:	This exhaust gas purification catalyst device has a catalyst coated layer 120 formed on at least one base material 110, wherein: the catalyst coated layer 120 includes a first catalyst coated layer 121 on the upstream side of an exhaust gas flow, and a second catalyst coated layer 122 on the downstream side of the exhaust gas flow; the first catalyst coated layer 121 includes a hydrocarbon adsorbent and a catalytic precious metal; and the second catalyst coated layer 122 includes a nitrogen oxide adsorbent and a catalytic precious metal.
